Unhappy Reserve time extended one year.

Well I thought it was my turn there for a while to dig out the old uniforms(Not that they would even fit anymore). I got the envelope addressed to Cpl. Jason D Manzi. Talk about a sinking felling in the stomach. Well it looks like instead of me getting out of the Reserves completely in June of this year that it will be posponed for one year. Well I hope the other former service members dont get the lovely envelope that I did, but if you have to go you have to go. Well just thought I would share my news.

Dude, you've heard it from me already, but I still find it weird that they can do that!!

Sucks to hear that Jason! I'm on inactive reserve until Jan 2004, so maybe I'll be getting a letter as well! I wouldn't mind going if I was called upon, but seeing how I just got out, I'm not ready to go back!

I was Inactive Reserve until July 31 of this year, but now it is 2004. Its funny how they can track you down, bc I never went and turned my active duty ID in or registered with a reserve station. It just goes to show if they want you they will get you. But like I said if you have to go you have to go.... Hopefully that will be the only letter I get. I really dont think the wife could handle that.

Don't worry. We'll adopt her for you. She'll forget about you in no time.
