I saw a set of four new ones for sale on another board, and am thinking about picking them up. What's the going rate for new ones? If I get them, I'd run them on the LX and use the Sensa-crap stuff on the wagon...

Thoughts?

I've always regarded them as better than Monroes, but below Tokicos and Konis. But that is IMHO. I was going to get some before I got the Bullitt ones, simply because of the price.

Side note, my rear end sway is back, with a vengance. Felt like I almost ripped the rear end out at lunch today. :( It was the uppers that were loose, right? I'll have to check them again. I haven't had a chance to get under the car, but I'm worried that the shock mounts or something may be damaged. A couple of guys on Corral have experienced shock tower failures after running the Bullitt rear shocks on their cars. With everything that is wrong with the car right now, maybe I ought to just put it down.

Thomas,

Don't put it down, rebuild it, LOL! It was the uppers that were loose, on the axle end. Double check those and the bushings; if not them, it 'might' be torque boxes...

What did you give for the Bullitt stuff? Are they still readily available?

Back when I got them they were cheap, like $184 shipped for all 4. Not bad I thought for Tokicos. I got mine from Torrie McPhail's www.fastpartsnetwork.com They have gone up since then, but you can get them. PPI also has them.
