I've always wanted to do a bombed out Cummins in a 56 F100.

Now that would be nice! I've always liked those older pickups. My father bought a 1976 flareside/stepside F100 Ranger XLT pickup new (replaced his dead 65 fastback :( ) since he liked the way the older ones looked. We talked about maybe restoring an older pickup someday, but he ended up getting sick before we did anything beyond buying a 289 to rebuild.
