Watch the video on CNN...Roth can't keep his mouth shut and twice interrupted Eddie. Eddie and David couldn't get along back in '85, which is why David left the band (his ego is out of control and he thought he'd be a mega star as a solo artist). Dave's problem is that Eddie is the star of Van Halen and he (as it appears) still hasn't grasped that concept. And now David is the only "non-Van Halen" in the group, as it is Alex Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen, and Wolfgang Van Halen).

I think deep inside Eddie *still* hates David and they're only doing this because they know there are million$ of reasons to do your best to make this work.

Also, this is just a precursor to a world-wide tour, so I'm sure they'll hit Houston, if they can stay together that long. I just hope Eddie is better than the last time he was here...THAT was a pathetic show!

Heard about that show and how bad it was. I, too, am hoping they can keep from killing each other until after they get to the Houston show. I also hope it's not at the craptacular Cynthia Woods pavillion. I don't really enjoy shows in Houston when they are outside. It's either too freakin hot or too many skeeters, or both.

Besides, all that funny smelling smoke blows away too quickly there.

Also, forgot to mention, Eddie is now playing with his SON...how cool is that for Eddie, so no matter how much of a jackhole Dave will be, I think Eddie will do it for his son. That has got to be the ultimate feeling for a father - son to be touring like that.

BTW, I went to RUSH last night at CWM Pavilion. I had Center MM seat 32, but I just acted like my seat was up front and made it to the second row!! It was sweet! I have NEVER seen so many people at this place, and I've been to A LOT of concerts there. The lawn was jam packed. RUSH really filled the place. I felt like I was in "The 40 Year Old Virgin" movie, what with $9 beer night! (if you haven't seen the movie you won't get the joke). But serious lad, $9 fer a fookin' beir is crazy! Thankfully I drank on the way up. :)

Next week is Deep Purple at Verizon (3rd row), then following week is Def Leppard in the Woodlands. They didn't call me Metal Head in college for nothin'!
