Bored waiting for them to start so I thought I'd throw a picture up. This is at Grand Lake in NE Oklahoma. This area is called Duck Creek and is about 2 miles off the main lake. They park a barge in the middle of it with $120k worth of fireworks. This show ranks in the national top ten for shows in North America and is funded solely by the residents that live here. Just before the fireworks start there are close to 1000 boats that park in this area to watch the fireworks. They have an air show that takes place 2 hours before hand and they fly straight down the creek. They kick the fireworks off with an F16 fly through at full afterburners. We are lucky enough to have a condo that looks directly down the creek.
