My Sunday consisted of some tree trimming, then when the chainsaw ran out of gas, I went onto other things. Hauled off that pool that I had gotten from No93LX over on WSM. I decided it was going to be too much of an investment to keep up with, so I traded it to Renee's aunt in exchange for two house cleanings (she cleans houses for a living and does the deep down stuff, ie dusting, showers, etc...).
Once I got back I looked in the garage and decided I was tired of the damn metal shelf I had that was falling apart and bent up. I looked around to see if I had enough wood laying around to build a decent bench and sure enough I did.
I had a 19" deep by 7' wide 5/8" sheet of plywood and had several 2"x4" as well.
So I spent a couple hours cleaning out the shelf and building the new bench to stack my crap on. I'm taking up about half of it with the stuff that was on the metal shelf, the other half will be a place for my track tool bags and box. I'll eventually build another shelf or two underneath it.
The white shelf looking thing above it is actually two 8' light fixtures. I needed them out of the way and found some old L shaped shelf brackets that were really deep. So the lights are out of the way and actually gave me a place to store more crap LOL.
First two pics are the old metal shelf. Jason can attest to the fact that these puppies were way overloaded!!! I found 5 alternators on the shelves LOL. 1 130amp, several stock 90 ampers.
Had some motor mounts, bracketry, old TFS valves, and other misc crap.
