Anyone have a recommendation for a place to get a lift kit installed on a truck in the NE Houston (Humble) area? My BIL is looking to get a lift on his truck and I was hoping someone knew of a good place to go..
Thanks,
Todd

Todd,
I don't, but I had a guy from Humble ask me the same thing the other day! What an odd coincidence! He's a driver for Atlas Freight, and has a '78 Bronco, FWIW...
What's your BIL have, for reference?

I'd say try Four Wheel Parts, they have three locations in Houston, I bought tires from them before. I went to the location on the south loop over by the Reilant Stadium, they had a couple of trucks in there getting lift kits and from what I saw they seemed ok to me and knew what they where doing. No idea on price though.

For reference he has a 2004 GMC Sierra 4x4 Z71 Crew Cab.
I'll have him check into 4 wheel parts. That was the only place I could find other than some custom shop in the Woodlands that just screamed "We're going to rape you."

Todd,
I checked into Woodlands Performance and Suspension (woodlandsperformance.com) when I was looking for my lift. I was looking at the Donahoe Racing kits, but their prices were in line with other places I looked. I ended up going with Truck Toyz (trucktoyzperformance.com) out of McAllen because they are a sponsor on several diesel sites I frequent.
There is also Cutten Customs, but my experience with them left me looking elsewhere. Let's just say I had a tough time just buying u-bolts. They do A LOT of lifts though.
I ended up doing mine in my driveway. Pretty easy, but I don't have an IFS. Let us know how it goes.

The 4 wheel parts on 1960 is between Sugar Pine and Kuykendahl. They do installs of lift kits, tires and wheels, and accessories.
