HP's website says $75 for three pulls. Anywany I can get some sort of discount there? Any dyno days coming up before FFW?

Steve doesnt do the wideband during a dyno day simply because it slows things down to install/remove it from every car.

Strictly performance will do them for 40 with a wideband. They posted it in the sponsors page at westside. http://www.westsidemustangs.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10913

cool Tracy, I was thinking there was a better deal out there, but couldnt find it when I searched briefly for it.

Ben, yup your right about that. I want wide band so I can get an idea of how the AF is

You might want to find out if the wideband Strictly uses is the kind that goes in place of the o2, or if it's the tailpipe version. The tailpipe version wont give you the same readings/accuracy as one installed in the o2 bungs will.

I cant see Richard offering the use of his W/B for that cheap, WITH pulls, unless it's a tailpipe wideband. If it's an o2 replacement wideband sensor, when he starts spending $500 a pop on replacement sensors, he'll prob raise his price.

Might want to check it out first.

Steve told me that W/B was an additional $60 on top of the $75 for 3 pulls.

That sounds about right. What I was referring to was when somebody has a Dyno Day @ HP... $35 for 2 pulls kind of deal. He typically won't include the wb o2, even at an increased price, due to the time it takes to load/unload 10+ cars on and off of the dyno.

Fred's right. I *think* Strictly has the Dynojet W/B which is just a tail pipe sniffer variety. If you have cats and/or a smog pump on your car the reading won't be nearly as accurate as a W/B that's placed into your factory O2 bung before the cats/smog pump.

Well what they have at Strictly would atleast be better than no wideband at all. Especially for the cost! Though I have stock mufflers, I do have and old beatup offroad pipe on it so I dont have cats.

I would recommend that if you're going to do this, do it right. What's the point of doing a wideband if the reading isn't accurate?

I would also recommend to use the same dyno you have used before (if you have). Dyno's vary so Strictly will read different than HP, MTI, etc.

Just my $.0025 :)

What I need to do is get one of those DIY wideband kits so that I can have my AF ratio on my tweecer readout;). I just want to get an idea of where I am, cause it doesnt feel as fast as I thought it would. Maybe I need someone to race so that I can get a better idea of how the car is performing:D Or ill just take it to the REAL measureing stick, the track.

Haha, cool Joseph! So you think hes converted?;) I took my roomate(not a car guy) for a ride, he was speechless himself!

eh its about 7, maybe 8. If im in second (3.27s) and at almost idle when I punch it, it will bust the Nitto DRs loose once it gets into boost and the car is going about 45 mph:) The cool thing is I know theres more in her once I get all my ducks lined up.

converted? well maybe. he was quite impressed, then i told him i would probably try and bury a 20 psi gauge when my new motor is done. he said my car would be way faster than his dads 454 nova.
