Being broke sucks big time!

I've got all of the parts to make my 8 second motor for my 11 second car with a 12 second driver (aka ME)... But I'm out of FUNDS to get it machined.... Talk about bitter sweet. It's like the night before Xmas, but I can't open my presents "until further notice".

*sigh* I need a beer. Rick when can I come over and wrench on your car? At least your motor is already built!

I think there are a number of us ina holding pattern right now. I can't wait 'til something breaks loose so we can all get back to the monkey business at hand!

Ben, your in the same boat as me for the most part. I have a combo I got designed for a bigger motor and/or a power adder of some sort. For this reason, my car is not running anywhere near its full potential. But when I start to get down, I realize I have a car RUNNING that is still somewhat quick and enjoyable to drive. This could be a lot worse if the car was broke and I didn't have the money to fix it. Till then, I am very content with what I have. Hell, you have a show quality clean Mustand that made ungodly amounts of horse power on a stock shortblock that you could take out anytime and go for a nice cruise. You still want to complain? Keep in mind, things can always be worse.

I know. I'm very thankful that I have what I do. It's just frustrating to have all of this "cool stuff" around me and not have any funds to build it. It's taken me almost 2 years to collect all of this "stuff". It'll probably take me another 2 to get it built and installed at this rate.
