So I scored these exhaust tips for "Project Fake Exhaust", don't ask what that is cause it's classifed. ;)
Anyway, these tips seem to be all stainless steel. You can see how rusty they are by looking at the forward section of the tip as I didn't "clean" that part.
Anyway, I was pretty impressed with what some elbow grease was able to do so I thought I'd share a couple of pics.

PS - and yes SOME of you may know where these tips came from too.

Damn Ben....you'll pollish anything won't ya! Looks good though...I don't want to know how much time you spent doing that for a fake exhaust system. :D

No shit, I dont remember them looking THAT bad. You leave them outside till you decided to mess with em Ben? I bet the pics just make them look worse than they are. I know the tips had some shine to em (a little, not covered with rust) when you obtained them.
Good job beeach.

Well I think what accelerated the rust was storing them next to my pool chlorine buckets.
As for the time, I spent about 15 mins on each tip. I didn't do the whole tip. I stopped about 4" shy of that 90^ bend, since I'll be cutting those off anyway.
