Hey all! I got a coupon from Harbor Freight for their caliper tool set (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?function=Search) (link doesn't work; type in 40732 for the PN) for $15.99, and plan to go get one this week some time. I can buy up to five (5) at this price, and wondered if anybody else might want one (if they are in stock)?
LMK!

that's the tool to rotate the piston back in on rear calipers?

Yes sir it is! I have one of those cubes, and I curse that POC everytime I look at (and I only used it twice, years ago!)...
I think this thing will work better, as it applies a load to the piston as you turn the handle...

Pick me up one Chris. I had to use channel locks the last time I took the calipers off.

Mark me down for one Chris. Are you planning to go during the day or after work?

During the day, ok. I thought I could meet you there if you went after work. Maybe we can meet later for lunch then.
Mike, If you want, I could pick up yours and deliver it to Joseph (I work off Waugh) unless Jersey Village area is more convenient.

If it's on sale at Harbor Freight, I feel compelled to buy it - no matter if I know wtf it is or not. I've got more un-opened boxes from HF than I care to admit. I know. I'm going to search for a support group. :(
But, I believe I can pass on this one - it'd only get lost in my pile o' carp.

If you can drop it off to Joe that would be perfect Thomas as I live about 5 min from his house. If possible Chris, can you get me two sets? I have a friend with an 03 cobra and he has the cube. He said if he had to use it again he would throw it down the street before using it again.

ROFLOL! I feel the same way Mike! In fact, I think I'll smash my cube in the 20-ton press -real- soon!
I'll grab what I can...

Thomas and Mike,
I have the tools! They only had three, despite the inventory count. Looks like we snuck in under the wire...
Thomas, I'd like to 'borrow' your car for a weekend here after the 17th, if thats's good for you. Not sure how to work out logistics, but would be willing to run you back home and come pick you up the following day, if good for you..

Thanks Chris. I'll get with you on the delivery.
Re the 'car borrowing', do you need another test subject for the "New and Improved" Neighbors Industries SFCs ?!? If so, I'm game and a date can be arranged. I need to get the motor mounts changed and look at the whole underside. I still have that rear end kick on hard acceleration even after replacing the 275,000 mile LCAs, UCAs and housing bushings. Hope the housing isn't tweaked or torque boxes damaged.

Thomas,
Well, I was thinking more along the lines of trying to get fifth gear back to you, and secretly sneaking a set of SFC's on, LOL!
You want to go over everything with a fine tooth comb while it's up and being given the twice over? Two sets of eyes are better than one!
