so i will ask here. Can you swap the input shaft on a 1995 t-5 to the shorter one? any other changes necessary for the unit to work in my 84? is it cost prohibitive?

ROFLOL! I don't know how that thing fills up so darned quickly, LOL!

You can switch it Joseph, and it will work in the '84 as long as you either switch the bearing retainer or cut ~5/8" off of it (the '95 should be steel anyway; modify it)...

You'll want to check endplay when you do it, but it's pretty easy. We could do it in about fifteen minutes...
