I saw a set of those on ebay for $40. Maybe they weren't exactly like those. ;)
Outta my league. I assume you're going with more meat?

Same meat, slightly bigger wheel, and the big thing to me is the bead locks.
The plan is to narrow the rear the and put 9" ends on it, with beefier axles.

DAMN! I can't believe you and chad want to pick on my low buck pos street cruiser with these bad ass outlaw style cars! That ain't right.
What is the offset on those? How much are you narrowing it? I'd image you have a lot of room since it's a ladder bar car.

You low buck POS is built by a professional race car shop! Besides, these are just wheels. They don't make you go any faster. So where's that pic of your engine bay?
They're 2 7/8" offset. I dunno how much I'm going to narrow it. I just picked them up a few minutes ago and need to get them under the car so I can measure.

Here's a few more pics. The same sized tire (28 x 10.5) is on both wheels. The diff being that 1 wheels is 10" wide while the other is 12" wide.

I think the rear end is gonna have to be narrowed a bit. :blue:

That's actually kinda crazy how much that has to be narrowed. Isn't it already narrower than stock?
I hope the ladder bars give you a lot more room, because with stock suspension I don't think you'd be able to narrow it enough to fix that. What is the backspacing on those? Not the offset, but the backspacing?

Looks like not much... 2.5-3.5" at MOST.....
And yes, the ladder bars should add another 4" of available narrowing per side, minus those pesky framerails and builder's latitude.....
Looks good Ben...I wish I had yer money too!!!! ;) :p

I was wondering it will also effect the mount for the coil overs.

I'm eating PB&J for at least a couple of months to pay these suckers off.
The rear is narrowed already, but I have no idea how much. I'm guessing an inch on each side. These new wheels have 2 7/8" backspacing, and current estimates are that I'll have to narrow the rear an additional 5" on each side. As a comparison, the current wheels have 7" backspacing.
Going on that number, I still have several inches left to clearing the ladder bar mounts/coil over/wheelie bar mounts (even though I don't own/possess a pair of sissy bars :) ).

That's cool. The shorter axles will be stronger as well.
BTW, glad you don't run wheely bars, only fast cars can use those :D
