Well I got hit again. Anybody have a hook-up for home security or suggestions as to where I can go to do it myself.

Some asswipes broke into my truck - didn't take anything, but were looking in the overhead console - I'm hoping they weren't looking for a door opener. They also FUBARed the wife's 93 driver lock, but didn't get in the car.

I'm thinking if I got a wireless security system I could just throw a motion/glass break sensor in to the cars on the driveway.

Unfortunately its tough to maintain the outside of the house. Like you mentioned, the best thing is flood lights of sorts hooked up to motion sensors. Sorry to hear about what happened. Thieves suck!

Like Shane said, get you several motion detector lights and set them up all around the house. You could get a video surveillance system too. My parents had to do this because some kids vandalized their house, spray painted the sidewalks and the side of the house. They were from my little sisters high school.
The motion lights would be the best thing, but I'd bet you could rig some type of alarm chirp up to the motion sensor to make a noise when the light comes on.

I like the idea of motion lights. But I would have it wired in series with an interior light. Some thieves might be used to motion lights but they wouldn't expect a light in the house to be tied into the motion sensor.
You could always go with the ghetto fabulous pit bull chained upo in the front yard.. :ity:
