My personal well-being is directly related to the cleanliness of my garage. It wasn't a bad weekend, or a midlife crisis, it was this: (see attached)...
I think I'll feel better when momma cleans her stuff up (BTW, this is the first time she cleaned the house, and you see where it wound up?)
Nay!

Hey Chris,
I was just at Lowe's tonight looking at insulation to cover my garage doors with. How did you attach that powerfoam?
And where are the emtpy beer cans that I expect to see strewn about the garage floor? :D

Neighbors Tech Tip #873: Powerfoam! Gives you more power, just not sure when...
I cut the foam to fit inside the formed lips of the door, Ben. I had to cut it, what, brb...Ok, I cut them slightly larger than the opening, and flexed it a bit to get it inside the door pocket. On the end pieces, I had to cut two pieces, as it had lips on all three sides. The foam board was about $7.50/sheet, and I had to us two 3/4" thicknesses to fill the 1-1/2" thick door (darn higher math!). Took me about 3/4 of a day to do...
The beer cans are neatly stacked on the workbench, thank you :D! You think I would throw them on the floor?
Good eye Kyle! You win the 'special secret prize' for being the first to note that, LOL! BTW, I've been through three cases, starting the fourth since last Monday...

My garage looks VERY similar Chris and I'm just as pleased as you are about it! LOL We actually just purchased a 4' x 8' wooden shed from the next-door neighbors for $100, so I'll be busy tomorrow attempting to store as much of the unused baby shit and the other "stuff she wants to keep that I don't give a rat's ass about"! :)
After doing the Weld install with the garage PACKED full of shit, I have just about had it with non-car-related items in my garage...LOL SO, we've worked out a deal. She gets the whole house to do with as she pleases....and I get the computer desk and garage...those are off-limits..haha

And the finished product....
Still not exactly where I want it to be, but for a rental house, I'm not putting any paint, electrical, or other work into it...lol
Wish I had taken a "before" picture, but lets just say that getting to my tool chest was an adventure that required much dexterity...LOL

Yes sir! Good ol' grease-stained concrete! I've been out there off and on today admiring it...lol
I kind of dig my multi-colored walls. They just scream, "We're too cheap to paint the garage" LOL The guy that lived here before me was an alcoholic Harley-rider, so needless to say there are a number of fist-sized holes in the garage walls....:)
One thing I do like about this garage is that it's long enough to pull a motor/tranny out of a car with the garage doors shut....nice for those winter build-ups..
Chris...notice the pic of the two nekked chicks on the far wall...figured you'd like that..LOL
