my dad has been doing a lot of remodel work in louisiana. he got ahold of some of these MREs (Meal Meady-to-Eat). he was over at my house today, and i asked if i was hungry. i was like "yeah". he says "here ya go."

i was just gonna taste it, to see what people were eating after the hurricane. i wound up eating the whole thing. :eek:

that little heater/warmer thing gets fucking HOT, too.

We have destroyed thousands of these things at the incinerator. That little heater/warmer thing actually makes these a hazardous waste when they need to be disposed of properly. I've never had one, but they don't sound too bad!

MRE's yeah been there done that. Hell it becomes a contest who can make the best meal out of one.

i actually had quite a few of these back in my boy scout days. some of dem ain't too bad either.

it turns out that next to the military, the boy scouts of america is the second largest producer of MREs in northern america. a backpacking ranch in new mexico is the key reason why. prudy cuntry.

Hook a brother up! O! could use a coupe hundred of those!

(The last time I had one was in the the early to mid-seventies, probably before you were born, LOL! They weren't that good then, and about all that was palatable to me (at the time) was the stale, stale crackers...)

id hold off just yet. i still havent produced a turd since eating the 1st one 24hrs ago. just a lot of....... :fart:

MREs actually aren't too bad. The real trick is to see if you can eat both crackers in their entirety without a single drink of water. I've only seen one person do it... lol

Do they still come with the mini-bottle of Tabasco? That's what most people would put on the food to give it some "kick"!
