Navasota Sat August 17th

Several of us are planning a trip to Navasota Raceway this coming Sat. Alan will be defending his Street Warriors position and I will be competeing in one of the classes. Also going are Fred, Brent, and Nancy. I believe they might be running as well. Anyone else interested in going?

I might bring the family to watch. I'm in PA this week and WY next week. Need some quality time....
If I come, I won't be comepeting for any class or title events. Learned my lesson from the HRG thing....

Bubba..Unlike Street Kings, Street Warriors ONLY happens at Navasota raceway and ONLY once a month. Who ever holds holds the title of a certain class is the champion for atleast a full month till the next evet. Even then, everyone that wish to race in that class have to race each other. The winner of all those people then have to race the champion from the previous month. The winner of those two will be the champion for the next month. Basically, if you win a class, you only have to race one person the next month to try to hang on to your title. There is no one that can challenge you to a race on any given night for your spot.

Just make sure you guys get there around 6pm or so that way you can get at least one test hit first.Once they start running the event it goes pretty quickly.

Im going, after the Line Lock Tech Day at Chris'. No clue when Im heading out, nor when I SHOULD be heading out. I dont know when it starts and how long it takes to get there. I still dont know if I can really afford the gas to drive or not either. Seeing that Im going down to Alvin in the morning, that'd be a SHITLOAD of miles by also going to Nasty. I might request a lift, but we'll see I guess.

well ... im going to try and so some work on the falcon this weekend, but if i get done early enough id like to stop by and hang out/help. if i do and i head out to nasty after ill probably have room to tote someone =)

Yep going. I have been telling my nephew I would take him to the track for the past 6 months. Looks like he will be tagging along with me finally. I plan on getting there early to get some time trials in.

Shane you're a smart man.Getting there and telling them at the gate which class you're gonna run though.They make you say which class at the gate while you're paying your admission fee,that way you get the right tech card for your class.
