Can anyone tell me what the approximate gains are going from a stock GT intake to a GT40/Cobra intake on a standard 302 with GT40 heads. In case it's needed, it is a 94-95 car.

10rwhp I'd guess. Unless you have exhaust then maybe 15rwhp.

The big bottleneck on stock 5.0's are the heads.

Ok, well what I'm currently researching is the limited edition Roush 94/5 intake. It's one weird ass looking intake and they claim some serious gains from it. I was told today by Dale at Roush that the kit will give 100-125hp when swapping from a GT intake to their intake on a 302 with GT40 heads.

That really doesn't seem right, but even if it's 50 hp, i'd be interested in getting that intake.

If you have some time, take a look at this thread (http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=963985#post963985) over on the corral and share your thoughts with me. FYI the kit is about $550 and comes with the intake, TB, linkage, fuel rails, injectors, and other misc stuff. Dale said it originally was a $3800 kit, but now it's discontinued and they are getting rid of them (and fast, thanks to that Corral thread).

After a bit of research, I have found a page that has a brochure with some info from the intake. Here (http://www.fnsweet.com/about/brochure.shtml) it is, and if you click on the middle image, you can see the engine looking from the top down (it's in the upper right). The text under it says that the intake will give 47hp increase on stock GT engine, and up to 99hp increase with GT40 heads.

Apparently the kit is a bit more than just the intake, like I said it has fuel rails, injectors, t-body, and I think it originally came with pullies too. I still think it's fishy, though. Wish I could find someone who has one and get a dyno sheet.

/me wants to believe!
