Ok, since Rick led in, me being the modest guy that I am....
Last night at Silly, a guy aksed me to race him for the #5 Street King title. I told him my car was way off, ran a different jet each pass, just tuning. He said he didn't care, he needed to run an all motor car to hold the #5 Street Kingt position. I said "ok". We ran, he red lit and I won. hehehehe.
Now they are upset thinking I don't play on the street enough to defend a title. Oh Well...

So for now, and probably for the last time, your friend and mine is the #5 Street King.

Rusty (and others),

Please refrain from attempting to communicate with “The King” on a personal level.

All requests and bookings must go through me, his agent and P/R Manager.

I will be announcing an autograph session shortly -

as soon as “The King” comes down from cloud nine.

:D

Call me old, slow, stupid, whatever, but I cannot make heads or tails out of that page; the format sucks!

Way to go Bubba! Now, go out there, defend the title, then ram it up thier...tailpipes!

Congrats!

Chris

I guess I am a bit confused with how all this street king stuff works. I know the guy in the #3 spot and know that his car isn't all that on motor. So, does this mean that you can run on the gas to get a certain spot? I know in that forum they stated something about all motor. Hypothetically speaking... say I wanted to get into one of those spots. Would I have to actually tell people what is on my car and they take my word or do they check over the car for gas and such before racing? Also, does the car have to be the same way continously. Say someone wanted to strip a ton of weight from their car just for the race and then put all back on after the race... is that legal? Just a bit curious how it goes... They also said something about racing at the track for the title... so if someone happens to race one of those cars on the street and beats them.... does that mean that person gets the title?

According to the "Rules" page on that site, there ARE no rules.

Which prompted me to post the following on his site:
--------------------------------------------------------

"From your "Rules" page on this site:

"IN THE INTREST OF DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND CREATING A LITTLE MORE ACTION...***THERE ARE NO RULES!!!***"

And then your subsequent post regarding Bubstang's 5th place spot:

"HIS KINDOM IS IN LIMBO UNTIL TOMORROW!! STREET KINGS ARE EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE ON THE 'GOSSIP PAGE!!" (I couldn't help but notice all the exclamation marks also) ;)

Maybe the rules page should say something like "In my own personal interest, I'll make up the rules as I go along".

Your post referencing him having to defend his title the VERY NEXT DAY or forfeit the spot because "HE ONLY READS THE PAGE ONCE A WEEK OR SO" (your quote) makes you look like a self-centered, chicken-shlt idiot. I'm sure your not, though. I'm guessing it was simply an oversight on your part.

Bubba is a well respected guy with a great family that he had out there Friday night - cooking hot-dogs, enjoying life with family and friends.

He didn't ask for this race - he was approached by 'someone' who said the 5th place spot needed a race. Bubba simply obliged - and won red-eye or not).

I'm guessing he'll gladly give up the spot than be REQUIRED to reach a certain quota of accessing this site in order to remain #5.

(in Columbo's voice) "Just one moah ting. Be caful waht you ask foah. You just might get it."

In the mean-time, keep up the good work! You're no Don King, but you certainly have all the characteristics!"
------------------------------------

One of those things I just HAD to get outta my system!

I'm okay now. :D
