I've got a 93' Thunderbird LX with 5.0L 306 ci and AOD tranny. I've had a code 33 forever and can't get this thing to run right. It jerks from 0 to 45 mph. I've replaced everything. The MAF, IAC, TPS, O2's, speed sensor in the tranny, EGR valve pos. sensor, and the injectors. Code 33 is for EGR valve or canister purge system not operating\opening correctly. I did an engine balance test and came up with 3,5,and 8. Don't know where to go from there? This car has the same motor as the 94/95 Mustangs. The ECM is different and different tune in it. I've checked all grounds, good. Vacuum lines are good. Measured all the wires from sensors to ECM, good. Have no way to check fuel system. If I put my PRO-M 75 mm MAF on, then I get codes for it too. Put stock one on, codes go away. Any ideas?
