Been a while since I posted on this board, but figured I would share how the mach 1 did Sunday night at HRP on the 125 shot. Just to give a little background, this car is all stock except for a Cold air kit, mac pro-chamber (catless) mid pipe and the nitrous. Everything and I mean everything is as it came from Ford (minus rear spoiler). Car is a portly 3550lbs with me in it and half tank of gas. The air was really good with a -946ft density altitude. Also had 26x10.5 ET Streets mounted on 99 V6 wheels out back.

R/T: .023
60':1.639
330:4.810
1/8:7.437
MPH: 94.18
1000:9.711
1/4: 11.632
MPH: 117.11 MPH

I lined up against a friends '03 cobra. His best time is a 11.15@124mph. Anyways, I got the hole shot on him. He cut a .356 light vs my .023 so I had him all the way to the 1000' mark when he edged around me for the win by a half car. He went 11.29@120.9. His car was hot and mine was cool, but it made for a hell of a race! I know he wasn't expecting the race to be so close.

I have to say these DOHC motors really love the nitrous.. hell, any car loves the nitrous :P

Tony! Good to see you again! I've been wondering how you were doing, but didn't want to bother you...

I didn't know you had a Mach1 until a few months ago Jessica and I were out tooling around your neighborhood, looking for your house, and I spotted the Hooptie next to the Mach; congrats!

Looks like Mark's car is running PDG too, but I bet you surprised him, LOL!

Take care, and if you decide to come over on the 'other' side of town, give me a jingle! I'm always in the garage trying to made some 'mad money', LOL!

Good to hear from you Chris! Man, I thought you had moved away or something. I haven't spoke to you in ages! We definitely need to get together. I was just talking about you on IRC with Brent asking about ya. He gave me your cell phone number but said you were out of town so I didn't call. I will hit you up.

Maybe we can throw back some brews and catch up a bit.

Wow. Tony that's cool. Do you have the wing taken off your car with plugs in the holes? I saw a car like that on the beltway last week, I'm wondering if that was you?

Thanks!

That was likely me! I used those plastic push-ins that hold the interior parts in to plug those holes. Used a little silicone to weather proof it and put some metal backers to hold them down. I have looked through every pick-a-part and junkyard in houston trying to find a oxford white trunklid that is clean, but haven't found one. The plugs work for now.

Man, those 32 valves are impressive! Have you done anything with the suspension or did it hook that well on stock suspension?

Best on motor has been a 12.56@107.42. The nitrous gave almost a second drop in ET and almost 10mph additional trap.
