Anyone help with a job?

Hey everyone. Anyone have any job connections here in Houston? I need to move out of my house and need a descent job to do it. I have 70+ hours of college, Military Police experience with Army, managerial experience, and other stuff. I don't care what kind of job really, I just need to make around $14 an hour or so or 30,000 yr. I know this is a long shot but I just thought I'd ask. Thanks everyone.

Do you have any mechanical design experience? My employer - I/O - is currently looking for a Mechanical Designer/Tech. Administrator, Marine in Stafford, TX. The description is here http://www.i-o.com/About_Us/Careers/Job_Listings/ .

I'm familiar with the engineers/techs on the project, and they're really hurting for help.

If I had any CAD experience or anything like that I would be all over the above job, unfortunately I don't. As far as HPD, yah they are hiring alot. The civil service exam is January 25 and i'm already looking into that too. Thanks for the help thus far.
