Installed the rebuilt tranny today. Already has a KC clutch. Also installed energy suspension tranny mount and x-member bushings...along with my Al Driveshaft. It took a bit longer than I originally thought, but that is because I had one insane schedule. So I finally said to myself, "It is getting in there tonight, or it will not ever get in there."
I jumped after it and was putting in the starter right when her parents showed up for new years eve dinner. I just have to check the torque on the starter and the driveshaft, then I can hook up the exhaust. When the exhaust is done, I can start it up and back it out of the garage. :)
Next up...body work. :D (I am not touching that one! hahah)
Still need to install the new quadrant, firewall adjuster and cable. I also found out that the steering shaft was rubbing my speedo cable..so that needs to be replaced now. Oh well, those are easy to change out. After all of that, the midpipe and the O2 sensors get installed...then it is done. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
I'll get back with you Otis! about how the tranny performs. It is really notchy, but I think that is only because it has not been ran yet. :)
