I start my new-and-improved job January 10th in Surface Wellhead Engineering at Weatherford on FM529 - 7.8 miles from home.

Thanks guys. I'm really looking forward to a 'normal' (subjective) life.

I just got "the" call saying they'd match what Weatherford is paying PLUS move me to the Houston office. Doh! Too late!

Now you need to go out and drink a lot....Yeah I partied pretty hard last night. 'Stopped off on the way "home" (in Bryan) at a local bar and had a few celebratory Crown and Seven's. After the third one, I almost fell asleep on the bar stool.

One ham sammich and two waters later, I'm outta there and asleep in my bed by 8:00 PM.
