As some of you know I have Ben's old short block from the vert and it's still living.

Made it to the track (HRP) sunday and made three passes all runs on motor only no power adder just yet but coming soon.

Best run was a 12.100 at 113mph with a 1.609 sixty foot. My best sixty foots have been in the 1.57 range but I think these tires are just done and won't do it anymore. New tires and a little harder launch and I think, actually I know i'll get some 11.80-11.90's out of this NA combo and then she'll get to see the spray.

Nice times, Ray. But honestly I am surprised you didn't ET better with that MPH and 60'. 113 mph is more then enough. For comparison sake, my old combo went 12.05 @ 112 mph with only a 1.64 60'. That was on DR's too.

Yes Ben, still the ol T5 tranny. The combo is really nothing awsome, it's a 308 cube it has Holley Systemax heads with alittle bowl work victor jr. intake a Bigs stage 4 750 cfm carb and a anderson hi rev n-71 cam 4.30 gears and a 26x11.5 et street. The wieght of the car is actually unknown at this time but I think around 3200# with me in it and I wiegh 220#. Yep Shane the mph is enough it only ran 89 in the 1/8 and has gone 91 several times before,so it definitly has the potential to get there on motor and trap 114-115. Time for new tires for sure though and maybe a little more aggresive shifting, I actually granny shifted the car all night just to make sure I didn't miss any gears. I had some friends watching the passes and they said it was spinning at least 20-30 foot out. :burnout:
