Just got back from Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri to watch Charlie graduate form Basic Combat Training.
To say the least, he is a completely different person. My mother, my wife and I did not recognize him. He went from 38 pants to 34 and weighs 185. He is 6 feet tall.
Never have I heard him so polite, yes sir/mam, etc. They don't lie when the recruiter's tell you how much they change. Just had to share. Here's a few pic's.
YES it was cold.

Congratulations to Charlie for making it through Combat Basic Training. Congratulations, and thanks, to you and your wife for raising a son who could, and did.

All the best.

Jessica.

You know what, I just noticed your son has the new uniforms, lucky dog. That means he didn't have to starch his BDU's everyday in basic haha. I've been waiting forever for those. We still don't have them lol.
