Assembly Mechanic, Sr. Req. #774 - NHR Larry Kubacak
POSITION SUMMARY
Primary duties include mechanical assembly and hydro, gas and function testing of oil field equipment. Will be required to operate overhead cranes, hydraulic torque tools, hydro test pumps, HPUs and forklifts. May be required to work 2nd Shift as needed. All duties to be performed with emphasis on safety, quality, environmental compliance and housekeeping.
Duties
Read blueprints and engineering specifications to perform moderate/repetitive assembling tasks.
Perform factory acceptance tests per specifications.
Properly stamp or tag all parts per engineering documents.
Identify problems or hazardous conditions that occur during assembly and test.
Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety and environmental regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned or indicated by responsibilities.
Perform all duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
• High School diploma or GED.
• 5 + years heavy equipment mechanical assembly or oil field equipment repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, engineering part specifications, and assembly and test procedures.
• Obtain certification for fall protection, confined space entry and forklift operation up to 40,000 lbs capacity.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
