Musicians?

I'm in the market for a Bass Guitar....I've had one before, (Ibanez 4string/fretted), and I'm looking to get back into plucking away at it. Anyone have any good experience with anything in particular? I was looking at the Fender Squire P-Bass. I'm not a professional or anything, just like to play away to take up some time. That, and I need toys to fill the new house. :D

I had a Washburn XS-4 back in my garage band days. It was a nice piece and MUCH better than the Fender I had. Unfortunately, someone wanted the Washburn more than I did (stolen). If I ever run across a duplicate of what I had I'd buy it in a heartbeat even though I no longer play.

I'll have to make mention of that. Thanks for the suggestion! I was looking at getting another Ibanez, I really liked the sound of it. I'm goin shopping today since I'll be on a rig come christmas.

find a cheap used mexican p bass, if you get the squire im betting you'll end up giving it up. i've never cared much for the quality of the squires.
