Is anyone in here able to change longtubes on a 2v with no problem, with competency? I know its a pain in the ass but i've never done it, i've only done headers on foxes. I'd be willing to pay someone $75 and a 12pack and some burgers or something to do it with me, and then if anyone needed help on their project I could be that 2nd hand for them in the future. If anyone needs a bit of extra cash or just wants to get dirty let me know. This is for the near future, a month or so give or take. Thanks guys!!!

 Mod Motors....Long Tubes? RUNNNNNNNNNN! :naughty: Just kidding. It's deffinitly a good 8 hour job, with a cold motor. My time in town right now is pretty scarce, being in the oilfield tends to do that to ya... . But, if it happened to be early next year, and I had a whole week here, I'm sure we could knock it out one Sat. Mornin. I don't tend to drink while I'm working on a car though, so maybe we could work somthing out in the cash department, 6-8 hours is ALOT of work. And burgers, well done please! :D

As far as cash goes, I can offer you the most I can, and if you like it great, if not, I tried :-) I can go $120, and the burgers haha. Working in the oil field i'm sure that to you its not alot of money in the time, but going to school and working on the side, $120 in 6-8 hours would be quite a haul to me for the day lol. I would be wrenching right their the whole time, I am pretty competent when it comes to mustangs, I built quite a few foxes, and have messed with my '02 some, so i'll be useful. If you want to take me up on my offer I can wait till early next year no problem. Anyway, please let me know either way, yay or nay. Thanks for your time and for posting back to me, and I hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

Mike, that might work. Do you have your own tools and stuff at your house? Jack? Jackstands? Wrenches? Ratchets?

Yes, I have my own stuff. I have 4 jackstands, a Jack, and a crap load of sockets and wrenches and stuff, a couple full craftsman sets at least. I also have a 1/2" impact gun and will have impact sockets this christmas, although my craftsman sockets have been working well for this :-) So yes, we are set as far as tools go, I have you covered. Thanks man. I'm gettin excited haha.

Will do. Do you reccomend any? What's the gasket to get these days? I'll keep you updated on my collection of stuff for the install and hopefully we will be good to go when you are ready. Thanks.
Kevin, If you need a hand I will come over and lend. Let me know the day and I will take off work. You know me always looking for an excuse to take off.
Mike , if you can afford it I would go with some hooker or SLP longtubes, They are actually a little cheaper than BBK and better(IMO).

I wish I could afford it guys but I can't unfortunately. I had the SLPs at one point but had to sell them for bills, they never made it on the car. The macs though I am getting an excellent deal on, so I can't pass it up. It will all work out :-)

Make sure to use OEM gaskets. Not too cheap, but you wont have to replace them in 6mos like I did w/ the BBKs :crying:
