I still have a ways to go but you get the picture... No forced induction for me, just a little help from the bottle should easily get me as fast as I would ever care to go.

Doh! There'd probably be some air gaps to fill using it with my Systemax II also.

It's either short-term or long-term memory what was I talking aboot?

It should run pretty good when it all said and done. It's a stroked 351 with JE flattops, Eagle H Beams, Scat crank, TEA ported Victor heads 365/300 @ .700, T&D rockers, Huge solid roller cam, PRO systems dominator and a port matched Super Victor intake and lots of other goodies, lots of compression and some nitrous oxide are in it's future.

Kick ass, Brent! I didn't realize you were getting a carb from Jim also... Pro Systems makes a damn nice piece from what I've seen in the past...

If you need help with anything...just yell accross the lake! :)

Probably early in 06. I still have a long way to go, I have to get the motor finished, get the fuel system sorted out and get a transmission. After it is running I'll turn my attention to the chasis.

The intake finally showed up. The one in the pictures above was from a 9.2 deck motor, I thought I would be able to use it, well I thought wrong. It would have taken extensive drilling and milling of the intake with a spacer to make it work and they don't make an adapter plate to bolt a 9.2 intake to a 9.5 deck motor. This intake isn't ported so I will be taking the complete motor to someone to have the intake port matched to the heads and a little other magic done at the same time.

I should have some of the major work done on the car over the next couple of weeks when I'm on vacation. I've acquired a few more parts, but it will probably be at least late Feb before I'm ready to fire it up.

Damn Brent, looking good man. What are you doing with the intake that wouldn't fit? I'll have to look when I get to the shop and see what deck my motor is.

Saleen91
12-24-2005, 10:25 AM
Most 351w's are 9.5 deck. Only the SVO & Dart "Nascar" style blocks are 9.2 decks.

Timebomb

And the 9.2 intake is for sale, it's completly ported by TEA to match these Victor heads, $400.
