The cap is the same for EFI and carbed. The rotor needs to be from a 1985-earlier Duraspark distributor. Ask for a 1985 Mustang GT 5-speed rotor and you'll be set.

1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 is the firing order

No vibrations and the car rev's alot faster, i mean alot faster.
I aam not use to driving it yet, but it feels alot faster.

Has he done any kind of tuning yet? Reason I ask is that I was reading something the other night about a guy who's 347 was pretty similar to Whitney's. He had 36#ers and was running fuel pressure in the upper 40s to keep the A/F ratio right. Just make sure the plugs look ok before he runs WOT too much. Also be on the lookout for detonation considering the weather and the compression of that thing.

You have the new Muscle Mustangs yet? Picked it up today so I'd have the PoMoFo article, but the also had a bunch of dyno-proven combos in there. They have a 347 that's pretty similar to his except for a bigger cam and a couple other small differences and it made 474 at the flywheel.

Hey my alternator shrewed up on me today.
Do u have a warranty on that thing.
See the little plug on the back of the alternator called a voltage regulator fried up, th harness to the car is ok but nither store here locally has that voltage regulator. I was wondering if whitney had the same on soi could use his warranty but i will ask.

That alternator is probably 3 years old and only had a 1 year warranty. However, it's an Ultima from O'Reilly's, so you might be able to use Whitney's.

The alternator is a 94-95 Mustang GT alternator. Nothing special about it other than that.

Well first things first.
I got a new alternator thanks whitney , and it didn't stop there with the givings,LOl ifu know what i mean.
""try about 5 cars between me and whit at the end of third, his car runs like hell.
He is really scared of high end speeds so we only did tothird.
We raced about ten times, LOl
I was killing himout of the hole the first few races and he could caught me , but finalyy afte tire pressure changes he was right beside me outof the hole, but not for long.
