Have you ever noticed that with a hot rod, you always have little things that need attention/repair?

I try and keep my car in 100% working shape. By that I mean every thing works. I hate having little stuff that's broken (lights, stereo, horn, etc) because little stuff likes to multiply until you have a LOT of little stuff that's broken/wrong.

Sure enough, last weekend for some unknown reason my horn and door locks stopped working! ACK! 2 little things at once!

I just now got around to fixing them after an hour of working on them.

Why does little stuff continue to go out on the car that seems to be driven the least in my house? Or maybe it's just the fact that I drive it so little, that the little stuff stands out even more than a car I drive a lot.

Oh well, enough ranting. Time for me to get back to doing little stuff around the house. :)

haha, I hear ya Ben. I know exactly what you mean (especially the HORN, as others will testify!). My horn never works properly. As of now, I need a new clockspring (will be the third one). The horn only works when the steering wheel is turned right from the position with the wheels straight forward. It wont work if the wheel is to the left. Dumb thing.

Btw, hope ya feel better. Get on IRC tomorrow and we can talk about our tiny business venture. Got a reply from the guy....

sure thing. I'll be on tonight, but you're probably still at the CCB.

BTW, the operation on Friday was scrubbed.

My alarm is wired up to lock/unlock the doors so I have a keyless entry. A couple of weeks ago my drivers side window motor died. So I had to go in there and replace the motor. After doing that the door locks stopped working. When I went back in there, this weekend, I found that one of the relays I use to lock/unlock my doors (via the alarm) had come unplugged.

So it was my own fault that they stopped working.
