Whats the story Chris? It almost looks like that one bolt hole had been broken off and rewelded. Am I correct?

Yessir. I had a friend of mine do the blobbing, er welding, and I did the sanding/grinding/drilling/tapping/cleaning...

Didn't turn out too bad...LOL!

Yeah, looks good so long as the upper/lower seating surface came out level and smooth (which I am sure you have verified).

...came out 'close enough' :D

The good thing about it is only half the boss was broken, so there's quite a bit of 'factory' sealing area untouched...
