I am at the stage of putting the O2 bungs in my turbo kit. I have done some research regarding placement and it seems to be 50/50 between putting them in the crossover pipe vs the downpipe. I would "prefer" to put them in the downpipe, but wanted to get opinions and input as to what the difference would be from either or.

Any input is appreciated?

Mine are in either down pipe, about 4" inches from the turbos

On our PTK kit, in the crossover I think. Only thing in the DP is the WB

My kit has a single bung for a wideband about 6" from the driver's side turbo. If its good enough for a wideband I don't see why a narrow band wouldn't work too.

Is there any advantage/disadvantage of one location to another? Will the sensors read differently if they are put in the downpipe vs being put in the crossover? Is this all a mute pointt just as long as they have some way to measure it?

I don't know of any disadvantage to either location. My is in the downpipe.

Cool.. It'll be much cleaner with them in the down pipe.. I'll move forward installing them there..
