A new tech article has been posted in the tech (http://PoMoFoRacing.com/tech ) section of the website! Once again, Chris Neighbors comes up big with a GREAT article detailing the steps necessary (or recommended) to rebuild your T5 transmission!

Check it out, give it a read, even if you're not in need of a rebuild (yet, hehe).

He has a previous version already making the rounds out there, but we are priviledged enough to have first shot at this NEW and IMPROVED version!

Also, I know NO ONE who has a T45 rebuild article up!

Chris is the man.

I am glad to have the chance to get chris to rebuild my tranny, that is a whole lot better than giving it to some shop where 3 different guys might work on it.....:hmm:

I talked with a guy I know, Rick (Y2KGT), he paid $1200 to get his rebuilt, I dunno if thats without the core charge refund or what but I was floored when I heard that!

Sounds like you need to update your price list Chris. But please wait till after you do mine;) BTW those are some good looking tech articles.

As many as you've done, how about a shortblock buildup? cam install? efi-to-carb swap?

Just some ideas....

We need to get together and take the pics of the engine buildup and do an engine build tech article. I have all the pics and probably need to get you them so you can narrate...
