I'm going to do some tweecer tuning on Cyberstangs car on the dyno. He wants to use HPE since they are close to his house. But last time I used the Mustang dyno there, they couldn't overlay dynoruns on top of eachother to look for improvements. They also calculated engine RPM off of wheel speed instead of inductive pickup, that screws with converter slip and tire growth.
Who's dyno do you use and why?

IMO,the Dynojet software is a lot easier to work with on doing things like overlays. I recently did a dyno tune over at Slaters and was very impressed with the service Slater gave me, not to mention he has a desk with power and internet connectivity available right next to the dyno. Which makes it even easier when you need to recharge your laptop.
Each shop has it's plusses and minuses. I also did a tune at Bumberas this past weekend. They have the PAU (load bearing) option for their Mustang dyno. The numbers read incredibly low compared to any other MD, but I attribute this to the fact that their dyno is loading the car based upon it's weight (you provide that number). For example my car, at 10# of boost only registerd 343 rwhp. But if you're not concerned with "the number" they have the latest software from Mustang which is a LOT nicer to use than the version that HPE and Conley's have.
AS for HPE, the last time I was there I was using their MD. Their inductive pickup was working just fine on a mod motor car that had coil packs. This was probably 2 months ago.
