Hi all, I' new to the board. Wanted to go to sealy tonight, but wife is sick, so had to stay home. Do any of you go there? HRP is too far for me, as I live about an hour south on US59. Well, gonna brouse the threads now, later

Welcome to the site! Not many of us frequent Sealy regularly, but a group of us (as many as can make it usually) go to the Car Club Bash (CCB) out there once a month. The next one is coming up next weekend, August 3rd. Come on out and join us! We need a GM in our camp, to show PoMoFoRacing isn't just about Fords. If you're interested, the gates open at 5, time trials will last till like 6:30-7, then elim's will start.

I usually make it out to Sealy 1-2 times a month (were you at the last Big Dawg Shoot-Out? Me too.).

You can spot me in the crowd, I'm a short little fudder with a big nose, my hair-cut makes me look like Seargent Carter (actually, - more like the working end of a toilet-bowl brush).

Thanks for all the replies. I go to sealy about once a month, sometimes to race, sometimes just to take my daughter ( she wants a jr dragster!) Mostly I go on fri nights. Last time was fri before last CCB. Seems like every time I'm off on weekends,I have things to do.Maybe I'll make the next CCB. Look for me there. Just a regular old stock 99 Z28, black. Maybe I'll see yall at group get togethers if you have them. As far as GM in the club, I'm not dedicated to one manufacturer. I currently own 2 chevy's and 2 fords. Also have had mopars. I like 'em all, as long as they are fast. Yes, I even like FAST ricers.;) later. so far I love the site. I'll try to upload pics soon

Yeah it is way out here. Quiet though. Loudest thing is the exaust on the truck (76 c-10 stepside w/mild 355 true duals 2 1/2 bullets and 3 1/2 echo tips side exit. Yep you guessed it, it's a beater:D We moved out here about 8 yrs ago for my work. I grew up in Sharpstown.

I am working on motor rebuild for the 93 5.0 t-bird. Any ideas on cam? I was thinking of e303. Was a daily driver, may make a street/ strip out of it. I don't know how the irs will do though. Anyone else have a bird?

Maverick ( known as pRick (the p is silent)) runs his tbird while his maverick is being built. He's the best bracketer we have running for us! lol. And yeah, that's also him in the firecracker video.

He's a riot, someone I'm definitely glad I've met through this hobby. If you need a reason to come out to the CCB, come out just to meet the character known as pRick.
