:fart: ..........No that's not what I'm talking about!

I've been hearing the sound of metal flexing coming from the drivers side rear of my car. It is most noticable taking left hand turns, or starting and stopping. I thought is was my pro star flexing, so Chris listened to it while I moved the car. We torqued the lug nuts, which were a little loose. The sound seemed less noticable for a day or two, but now it's back with a vengence.

I rocked the car side to side today and there is definately something loose, broken, wrong,f****d up going on back there. I got a moser 31 spline, 5 lug, swap done just before FFW (Houston) and new bearings were installed on both sides at that time.

I'm 99% sure it's not the wheel it seemed like the drivers side axle was moving in the axle tube.

I do still have 160,000 mile stock control arms and bushings.

Any help appreciated.

I was going to suggest bearings but since you changed those, the next thing to look at would be your control arms and torque boxes.

As I was leaving FFW Houston, I got as far as Spring and started hearing a bad clunking noise that at first sounded like my Pro-Star flexing. After some diagnosis in the Wal-Mart parking lot and a slow trp to Fred's house, my LCA bolts were loose.

Might check them out...torque spec is 85 ft/lbs I believe

Good Luck

Crawled under my car and as soon as put a wrench on the bolts for the UCA I heard the familiar sound of "my pro stars flexing". Good call, Anybody have some good aftermarket uppers for a fox body laying around?
