I've been able to obtain a very nicely built 306. Now comes head selection. I realize that with a 306 built like this it's pointless to run stock heads and that I'll spend more money later on when I change the heads, but I am a PoMoFo. Here's the description of the motor:
Block was checked, painted, new bearings, seals, etc. Balanced, align honed and bored .030 over. Forged replacement pistons have been flycut for high lift camshaft, main girdle was installed. Includes timing chain installed, lifters installed, a Crower Custom camshaft designed for nitrous (mid .500's lift and high duration).
What do I do? Can I run stock heads? Will I need to change the valve springs? Do I need new heads?
Please Help guys.
Thanks
Chris
