Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum, but have a few friends on here from the olden days. Just in case any one is wondering, Darrell pretty much together my whole car. From AOD to T-5 swap, T-5 rebuild, and a 306 he built for me about 4 years ago (which by the way is still running strong as a testament to his abilities). Sorry for the name dropping, just wanted to thank him again. Anyways I was just wondering if there where any guys on here in the Wichita Falls area. Me and the family will be moving there in about 2 months and looking forward to meeting a few blue oval guys. Down on the Mississippi coast there is a strong ricer scene, but not a lot of any thing else. So if you could just let me know if you’re in the area.

Thanks again for every thing darrell, I'm sure I'll see ya soon. can't wait to see that turbo set up.

Damn, Wichita Falls. I was stationed in that one Horse town. I'm sure things have changed since 89-90 (damn I'm getting OLD) but the only thing to do car wise was zip up and down the main street by the college (north Texas or something like that) Really a small town that only exist because of Shephard AFB. On my 4 days off (I was LE) i would just head off toe dallas or to Ft.Hood in Killeen. Witchita falls just sucked too much for me to hang around there 4 days when I didn't have to.

Hey Mike,

Glad to hear the car is running good...! Check on DFWStangs.com . There are a few Wichita Falls folks on there. I know there are a couple guys on the base, but most of the locals aren't real impressive. Especially my "buddy" Steve. Avoid him like the plague... :)

Is that the guy that bought the 91 lx or the guy who thought he knew everything and kept building motors that came apart in the first 500 miles.
What did he drive, so i can make sure to stay far far away from him.

Well..that's the thing....when the cars don't run long, there's no telling what he drives! :) Michael is the guy who bought my 90...he's real cool.

Chances are you'll hear about Steve and he'll be recommended to you. He hates me with a passiion and the feeling is just about mutual. He's tried to trash my workmanship in the past and if you don't mind, make sure that word gets through the grapevine that your car is still going strong after all these years. :)

You need to come to Houston for a visit!
