A friend of mine wants to buy a known good Holley 750 DP. I told him $100 and I was just guessing, but he claims that he can get them for $50 or so. This is a good friend of mine and he is always buying and selling something so I'm pretty sure he knows the street prices. This would come with a box of metering blocks, jets, gaskets (probably no good) and misc other parts that seem to accumulate with carbs.

I've looked around here and on other sites and see prices ranging from $75 to $150. So, am I asking too much?

IMO $100 is very fair seeing as you will be throwing in a few extra parts.
