Everytime it rains outside the floorboard on my drivers side gets SOAKED with water. It can be parked for the whole rain storm or driving around. Same thing happens. Headliner is dry, door is dry, weatherstripping is good.
Just this huge spot infront of the drivers side seat is soaked. On the sides of the spot its dry, infront and behind as well. Soaked as in a Small amount of standing water.

Anyone have any ideas or have this happen to them??

Check the grommets on the firewall where wires and other fittings pass though into the car to be sure they are in good shape. My convertible was real bad about getting the carpet wet and I traced the problem back to this area.

It might be leaking from the black headliner trim panels. Your windshield might be leaking near the top and allowing it to drip down?

Your car doesn't have a sunroof does it?

There is a large oval body plug in the floor just below where the dead pedal is. I have seen these things come out if the floor is damaged by a floor jack. I would check that and make sure it's in; it not, pop'er back in!

O!

If you're missing the plug, hit Kyle (89LX306) up; I think he has a five gallon bucket of odds and ends from this jewel...

Can I play too?

On some cars (okay, 1970+ Mavericks especially), the cowl areas will hold water and eventually cause it to rust through - leaking water from underneath the dash - to, you guessed it, the floorboard.

'Hope it's one of the above, 'cause a rusted-out cowl can't be an easy fix.

Keep us updated.

Waaaaay back when I had a leak on the passenger side, rather similar. They tested everything, cowl, windshield, etc. It ended up being a bad spot in the firewall. The dealer finally found it and sealed it up. No problems since. Just get a water hose on the outside and a flashlight under the dash and hopefully it will be obvious where it is coming from.

Good luck!

For those who have nitrous on their mustang. How do yall have the wires run going inside the car? Mine are going through a big hole in the firewall on drivers side right behind the pedals. Grommets still there cept its pushed a little to the side so the wires can get through. Ive had this kit on my car for close to 2 years and this water prob has only been recently. So I dont think this is the prob but u never know. If theres a better way to slip the wires in then Im all ears.

I have mine running though the same boot as the EEC wires on the passenger side. I have no clue if it leaks, my car stays in the garage and doesn't see rain.

Seems like mine are running through the EEC boot as well on the passenger side. I only have like two wires going out there though, just one set of speaker wire going to it from the toggle switch. I have the relay and what not under the hood near the solenoids. Its not pretty, but it works.
