Is the car running? Ready for COTT this year? BTW, I was out at the Braggin Rights Nationals, index race at HRP, and saw a buddy of yours with a red 9 sec ride *drool*...but I didn't see you around?! What gives?

Sorry for my lengthy absense. Last time I had the car out was last June. It's been down since then. Man, talk about withdrawals! Aside from being busier than sh*t with work and web development, things are coming together and I should have everything back together in the next couple of weeks. Not getting ready for any specific event or anything, just getting it together. I went through some fairly major upgrades, which consists of.... well... basically, a new motor. I went through the transmission while I was at it just to freshen it up. New headers, carb, cam, rockers, and a few other things I may or may NOT mention are among some of the upgrades. Hehehee....... I'll still be completely street-legal and through the exhaust like before, and still no nitrous,steel heads, single carb, etc..... I won't make any predictions just yet, but it should be considerably faster than before. An added convenience is the new BigTex trailer I bought. Talk about nice. No excuses now!

I love Dusters! I had a 71 /6 as my 1st car back in the mid 80s. The grille on yours made me think it was a Demon at 1st. I had one of those for a short time in the late 90s too. /6, 3 spd manual, heater delete and NO options. I should have made a drag slut out of it, kind of regret selling it. Really like yours though, how bout some video of it running?

I'm not running any nitrous! There is none on the car, and probably never will be. Besides, how fast can a 3800# car run on pump gas? Yes, I'm STILL running on pump gas! :D

BTW cool video! I didn't know there was a video of our race!! :)

The last vid there is when my tires were shot... hence the Force burnout... :ity:

I still think that was an AWESOME run between you and I..... I sandbagged and lost, but the best part is that it was close the whole way down! Thanks for posting the links.

So get your solid roller, race gas, iron headed Slow-Par back out there cause I want a re-match! :D
