Michael,
Can you get me the number to order a stage2? Once we get it and I suppose a steeda quadrant would be nice- it will be your turn to show me how to shift:)
Oh yeah, you think I should get an aluminum drive shaft since the tranny will already be out? I wonder how hard that install would be.
I will go buy a good torque wrench maybe Thursday and look into a smaller air compresor and air wrench to;) Also gonna check out some cheap rims to throw a pair of ET's on. After all my new contract went through with TDCJ so I will be here for 6 more years!

Darrell your missing out on some real fun hehehh.

Spec's numbers are:

Order: 800-828-4379
Tech: 205-491-8581

Driveshaft install is EASY. And yes, if you have the money, go ahead and get it when you do your clutch swap, since you have to pull the OEM one anyways. You can order that from Summit (prob the best price around, make sure you tell them the year of your car to get the sn95 one).

http://www.pomofo.com/How-To%20Indexes/driveshaftindex.html

I need to reformat that article, add a blurb about the tranny losing some fluid when you pull the driveshaft (and how to avoid that) and add some pics, then I will be putting that up in the tech article section of the site.

If you do the install, PLEASE take some pics of the driveshaft area at the trans, and at the rearend (with the bolts).

Thanks, hope this helps

As far as the flywheel iam thinking it would be nice to go alum!
But let's call spec Or when ever u talk tothem Get there opinion on this.
It would definatly be the time to install the drive shaft.
""Ken""
One thing we have to keep in mine is w ith that much power and a set of 4. 10's U really need to invest in a set f sub frams. That Car on slicks is gonna be wicked!!

LOL thats easy we can call Jason from the DFW forums and have him deliver the beer:)
I am looking on the net for some subframes at this time, not sure what to go with but will probably opt for some bolt ins and then have them welded later if needed.

Talk to Darrell before you get SFC's..... look at his..... I would highly suggest getting the same ones he has, instead of the typically CHEESEY ones you can get from "name brand" places.

So when are Ken and Whitney gonna square off? :)

Whitney's car still running alright Micahel? Haven't heard anything from him, so I'm hoping no news is good news! LOL

Ken...take a look at Jason's subframes. He bought the MM full-lengths and I would strongly discourage you against a bolt-in subframe. Millers mufflers will weld on subframes for a fair price (they did Jason's). Full-lengths would be the best bet, but they are pricey and the SN-95 chassis is A LOT stiffer than Jason's 89. I would recommend getting some with the seat brace since these cars are known for ripping the seat mounts out of the floorpan.

Lemee know how the races go this weekend....

Derral the car has been running great. It was loading up on fuel at low rpm's but Whitney lowered the fuel pressure and he caims it has picked up alot.
I haven't had a chance to tell u But, Whitney took steve for a ride in car and his therory aboutthe way it would run was finally proven Wrong. THis exact words out of Bd's mouth "" It was gonna be sluggish low rpm's and and gradually pick up as the rpm's rise. """TOTALLY OPPOSITE"""I like steve he probably doesn't like me cause i say it like it is. That 347 in whitneys car runs alt better than his did. Any way we r gonna " TRY"" to change out the header gasket sometime this week, and we pry that 's the problem or my theror will be wrong. Any racing this week the results will be posted. talk to u later.

We're working pretty hard up here, but it still feels like a vacation...haha

Talk to ya later
