As Da Man O! can tell you, I'm a voracious blog reader, everything from the left of left (http://www.cursor.org/) to mommy blogs (http://chezmiscarriage.blogs.com/), milblogs (http://www.blackfive.net/main/) and over to the way right (http://www.jquinton.com/).

'cause it's all about perspective, ya know? And I like to hear varying views, opinions, and arguments from all sides, to test the accuracy of my own and because sometimes it's just a hoot to read something and think, "What a f*king IDIOT!". I try not to get too personal about differing opinions, etc., because, hey, we could all be wrong, but there's one subject that I take very personally: support of the American troops.

< > Members of the military do what they're ordered to do. Period. Regardless of whether we support the orders, or the people doing the ordering, we should support the troops. These men and women need our support now, and are going to need our support even more when they return home. The physical, psychological, whatever damage that they have experienced and will continue to experience away and at home requires it. To do that effectively, we need to have some idea of what they have dealt with and the possible consequences of that. We can't know unless we've been there, but we can get an idea...

So, if you haven't heard of Gunner Palace (http://www.gunnerpalace.com/content/) yet. Check it out. It debuts nationally March 5. We may not want to know, but we need to try. To support the troops. < /  >

Take care,
Jessica.
