We were headed to watch a race at "the track" and we happened to get lined up next to one another at "the other track" and rolled into it together. Probably doing about 40 or so we nailed it. Keep in mind, my car is in street trim with extra seat, a passenger, and mufflers on, so probably capable of a 12.40ish or so around 108mph. This freaking cobra kept up with me. I was very very slowly pulling on him, like 1 car from 40-100 or so (speedo no worky). He said it was a stock 03 cobra and figured it should trap 109-110 or so.

Sure looks like ford finally got something right, although I wish they could make that kind of power n/a instead of slapping a blower on the car. I bet with exhaust, filter, and pulley change they should run 11.7-11.8 on tires.

Yep those little boogers are pretty quick. Just in case you haven't seen, the September 5.0 mag had one running 11.95 @ 116.27 with filter, exhaust and slicks. Pretty dang fast. Enough to barely edge out my little LX. :( Time to up the anty.

All I had to do to put a real hurting on him was tell my cousin to get out and take the passenger seat with him.
