Also, when adding an attachment, it doesn't save the attached file info when I 'submit' the post.

How are you trying to delete? If you check the "delete this post" box, and then hit the "save changes" button, it doesn't work. Look over to the right of the "delete this post" checkbox, and there is a "delete" button. Click that and it SHOULD work. If not, tell me the error it gives you.

Also, I dont understand what you mean about "saving" the attachment before hitting submit.
