I guess all the rain-postponements allowed the 'Big Dawgs' and wanna-be's to get all their poop together and show up at Sealy.
They showed up in force last night for the Big Dawg Shoot-Out. Lot's of low 5's cars/trucks.
Brian Herzog's (F-bodied 5.02) lost to Todd Moyer (F-bodied 4.98 )in the finals. (I 'believe' these numbers are correct).
Then Joe Golden of hotrodgossip.com promoted a race between "Jimmy the Kid" in a '70 Chevelle (not exactly your show-room car - this guy is definetley PoMoFo material) against Moyer (very clean car - and matching fire-retardant jump-suit).
The rust-bucketed 'dirty-white' Chevelle whooped up on the high-dollar paint-jobbed Moyer. "The Kid" beat him at the traps with a 4.94 (pb) against Moyer's 5.02.
Overheard in the pits, "Does anyone have change for a five-thousand dollar bill??
More money was exchanged last night at Sealy than on Wall Street all of last week.
A good time was had by all.
Thank you. That is all.
