All: Well, I've had DSL for about four months now, and now (thanks to Fred!) I have KaZaA (http://www.kazaa.com)...
Now, I've already DL'ed about 120 songs, but I'm stumped. I need some suggestions for some muzak, please :D!
I don't care for country (save for Dwight Yoakum), but anything else goes (well, light on the classical).
Help an old fool get 'hip'...
Thanks!

I stole these from another board, and I have only heard of a few of these bands/djs: Chemical Brothers (good) Kraftwerk (good), Lords of Acid (ok I guess).
I also always liked 808 State, but their music seems hard to find. The Shaman (or is it men?) are good too. Old School though.
And, there's always remixes of popular songs. I have some remixes of Cure/Depeche Mode and a couple of Yaz songs that I really like.
I think I'm done.
Hope these posts help :D

I would like to warn those of you that have downloaded Kazaa that it (and many other programs like it) contains spyware. There is another program called Kazaa Lite (http://www.kazaalite.tk/) (buncha popups and several clicks to get the program) that does not have the spyware.
To get rid of spyware, and monitor your system for it later, I recommend Ad Aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/). Get it and you'll be surprised what's on your system that you didn't even know about!

Thanks for the warning Rusty; I ran the Ad aware at work some time ago and found little; but, the more you DL the more you're at risk. Be careful peeps!
Thekla: maybe you should make a 'down south' TechDay' they could work, we could swap muzak, and drink lemonade and Vodka, LOL!
