Last run I launched at 6K, shifted at 7K. I am stoked w/ the 1.7 short time! Lots of redlights, lol....Its been a few months :D

I wanted to make another pass and launch at 6500, but it got packed and I had to wake up in 4 hours for work today :(

Here is my best 1/4 pass compared to my new best 1/8 pass. Now I just need to find a 1/4 that hooks out here

Still running the stock 95K mile rear end w/ 2.73s and 255/50/16 DRs (old and bald)

Not sure if I lifted the wheel or not, but it sure felt good! :burnout:

I know this car has 7s in it as-is. :bubbrubb:

Very impressive you got into the 1.7's with 2.73 gears. With launches like that, the stock rear won't last long  . BFG DR's work best when bald. They look to be in their prime to me. I got a 1.64 60' on my old 275/50/15 BFG DR's when they were almost worn out. That was with 4.10 gears and a 4,400 rpm launch slipping the hell out of the clutch. Was consistant 1.80/1.81 60's last weekend on 255/50/16's and 3.73's leaving the line at only 2,500 rpm's.`

I'm trying to get ahold of my friend so we can get the axle housing to the diff shop to get welded up ASAP. If we do it on Monday, I will assemble it all and have it waiting at home if I break the stocker.

I plan to go next Thursday and see what a 6500 launch will get me...or maybe a *gasp* 7000 :eeek: Assuming I can sack up at the lights :p I was running 12psi, so I might drop it to 10-11psi.

If it can handle that, I'll borrow some ET drags b/c I've always wanted to see just how far I can go w/ these gears, but have always been afraid of breaking. But now I have the parts to back it up :woot:
